Kalco Lighting was founded by Harry Kallick after his early adult years were spent exploring unique ventures. In his formative teenage and college years, he was a regular at the pool table to the point where he earned the nickname “The Rock'' to convey how well he hid his emotions. Away from the pool table, he spent time in a meat packaging plant and time promoting rock concerts for famous bands. Eventually, his wandering path led him to entering the lighting industry as a businessman and designer. He and his wife Marcy Jo Kallick founded Kalco Lighting in 1981 in Southern California. Even though they eventually sold the business, his presence left its mark and led Kalco Lighting to great success.
In the forty years since Kalco Lighting was launched, the brand has been known for its impeccable style and ability to coordinate with accent furniture. Their products also use premium material and quality craftsmanship with handcrafted lighting fixtures fitting for today’s homes.
Kalco Lighting has collaborated with well known designers to create iconic lights and lighting collections. Celebrity interior designer Vanessa Deleon recently created her own line of lighting with Kalco Lights. Aside from these collaborations, the members of Kalco Lighting’s internal design team also work hard to create masterfully crafted, beautifully articulated lighting fixtures. While this team is synonymous with the company name, their work speaks for itself with their grand elegance.
