FLOS has been in business for over 60 years with the company officially starting in 1962. The company story begins in Merano, Italy, but it hardly stays there as the company has grown exponentially in their 60 years of existence. Much of their design inspiration comes from Italy, but the inspiration for the company name came from the Latin word for “flower.” This word perfectly encompasses the company’s goal of blossoming into a larger entity and producing lighting fit for italian styled homes and homes all over the world.
