Terzani Lighting’s story begins with Orlando Terzani, the grandfather of the company’s current CEO. He was a master craftsman who worked with wrought iron and created gift items for US distributors in the 60’s and 70’s. Seeing that creativity, his son Sergio Terzani founded the lighting company now known by his family name. These lights were created with the craftsmanship he learned from his father, but those skills were used to hand craft wood and Murano glass lighting fixtures. Today, Sergio and one of his sons, Nicolas Terzani, are two key figures in the company who have created a legacy for crafting luxurious contemporary lighting fixtures.
The founder of the company, Sergio Terzani, is one of the most iconic designers of the brand since it was his initiative that launched the company. Terzani Lighting has established collaborations and partnerships with many leading designers like Dodo Arslan, Christian Lava, Simone Micheli, Bruno Rainaldi, and Jean-Francois Crochet. Each of these designers have their own signature aesthetic that blends well with the luxurious, elegant fixtures of Terzani.
