LZF was founded in 1994 by Marivi Calvo and Sandro Tothill, two artists who had a passion for art, exploration, and innovation. When they were working on wood veneers one light, they managed to create something that inspired their company’s forward trajectory. This Spanish brand continued to develop future projects with wood veneer and used their techniques and artistry to create handcrafted lighting fixtures full of history and contemporary elegance. To this day, LZF lamps are known for their use of wood veneer and highlighting the balance of wood and light in their artistic fixtures.
LZF has their own set of established designers and works with brands outside their own to create beautiful collaborations. Some of these figures include Ray Power, Miguel Harranz, Oskar Cerezo, Mikiya Kobayashi, and Remedios Simon. Each of these individuals and studios have their own signature styles that are beautifully displayed in LZF’s iconic wood veneers and handcrafted fixtures.
LZF Lighting has produced various types of fixtures. Some favorites include LZF pendant lights, LZF wall sconces, LZF table lamps, and LZF floor lamps. LZF Lighting was founded in Valencia, Spain, and that is where their company is based today. All of their lighting fixtures are handcrafted in Spain as well.
