Kuzco Lighting is a relatively young company since it was founded in 2006, but this doesn’t negate the quality or passion behind Kuzco. The company’s founder, Nathan Yang, took inspiration from the mountainous region of Peru and named his company after the city of Cuzco, a holy area of the Incas. He changed the spelling to start with a “K” to honor his Chinese heritage and blend two cultural philosophies, which is a running theme in the company. The philosophy is this: if you combine the brightest minds and different philosophies, you can create something special.
Aside from the company’s founder Nathan Yang, there are other iconic designers within the company’s ranks. Ryan Pauly, Codey Stonerock, and He-Jung Ro are three key figures within Kuzco Lighting. They are specifically behind the Serif LED Collection, which explores how abstract designs work in a 3D medium. Of course, these are just a few of Kuzco Lighting’s designers as they have many more working to create stunning light fixtures every day.
Kuzco Lighting has many types of lights available, such as indoor and outdoor lights. Some of the favorite outdoor lights include outdoor wall sconces, step lights, path lights, bollard lights, and landscape lights. Within all their indoor lights, Kuzco offers some similar options of wall sconces and ceiling lights, but they also have favorites like pendant lights, chandeliers, vanity lights, and table/floor lamps. Truly, Kuzco has a diverse range of lights, and all of them are favorites for different scenarios and design styles.

Kuzco Lighting is known for their quick rise to fame in the lighting world. Since their conception, they have been present at many lighting shows and received many accolades at those shows. Their Dallas showroom has even won the Best Visual Presentation from the Lightovation Board of Governors in its very first year.
Kuzco Lightswas originally founded in British Columbia, Canada, but after finding so much success with the United States populace, they relocated to New York City. It’s at that location where they continue to design their beautiful lights.
