POST AND PIER MOUNTS WITH LOW VOLTAGE LIGHTING

Would you like to have grand post lanterns or pier mounted lanterns at your front entry way but don't want to have an electrician, building permit, and major digging in your yard to do it? Well why not go with low-voltage wiring? Whether you want to add an element of ambiance to an outdoor living area or need safety and security, post top and column mount lanterns are a great add on.

You can use any standard light fixture with medium base or candelabra base sockets that are for 120 volt use. The trick is that you need low-voltage candelabra or ow-voltage medium base to go with your low-voltage power supply and wiring. As long as you match up these you will have no problems. Low-Voltage light bulbs are typically limited to 15 and 25 watt output and are incandescent so they will not be as bright as your standard 60 watt bulbs in your house. There is also a possibility of voltage drop depending on how far your transformer is from your post or pier mount lanterns.

If you already have pre-existing low voltage wiring to a pier or post mount you can always light up your address with our LED address numbers!
