Viso Lighting was founded over 25 years ago by Filipe Lisboa, who was recognized at a young age for having an eye for design. He first began his company outside of Lisbon, but he brought it home to Canada in 2002. He and the brand’s president Tzetzy Naydenova say that the company has two founding eras: one when Lisboa started the company, and another when Naydenova joined the team as a partner and company president.
