4 inch Iolite luminaires can be specified for use with Iolite new construction or remodel housings. Die-cast adjustable surface gimbals adjust to aim the light source in desired direction. This Round Adjustable Gimbal has a 45 degree adjustability. Features the Nora Iolite TIR 10 degree optic, a dedicated LED module specifically built to achieve a super narrow spot. Standard Iolite modules include field changeable optics and cannot be adapted to utilize the 10 degree optic. Why choose a narrow spot TIR optic? Some applications will require a perfect beam of light on a particular object or area such as art, retail displays, museums, foyers, and more. When using tight beam spreads, center beam candlepower (CBCP) is more important than delivered lumens. Allows for less spill light and more punch on the focal point. Delivering over 20 footcandles at 20 foot distance.
